Falcons bring back a running back

The Falcons made a change at running back, near the end of the offseason program.

The team announced they had waived running back Demario Richard and brought back running back Terrence Magee.

Richard was an undrafted rookie from Arizona State.

I’ve thought about that often, but nothing really stands out as connecting football to the sort of feeling I’ve had with depression, Kramer said. It very well may be linked. It doesn’t feel like it to me.

But Kramer did acknowledge that his fall from grace after joining the Chicago Bears for the 1994 season had an impact on his well-being.

Coming in as the starter and the free agent and then getting hurt, feeling better after a few weeks, like I could play, but then not getting an opportunity to, Kramer told the Detroit Free Press. And I think that all played a part in it.

Murray, who turns 21 on Aug. 7, is expected to be at the Coliseum to sign the contract and take batting practice before Friday’s game, the Chronicle added.

He hit .296 (56-for-189) with 46 runs, 13 doubles, 3 triples, 10 home runs, 47 RBI, a .398 on-base percentage, and a .556 slugging mark in 51 games with the Sooners this season.

Murray started as a true freshman for Texas A&M before transferring to Oklahoma. He then took over as the Sooners’ backup QB in 2017 and started a game against West Virginia when Mayfield was suspended for a quarter.

Murray remains the only player in history to play in both the Under Armour All-American games in both football and baseball. He said in a conference call shortly after he was drafted that he fully intended to play football in the fall.
